Data source metadata
When viewing a data source, switch between Table view (raw data) and Metadata view (column names, descriptions, and sample values).
In metadata view you can sync metadata from your data warehouse, generate metadata automatically, or edit column descriptions manually.
Adding metadata helps Atta understand your data better and give more accurate results.
Reference columns with @
Type @ in the chat to reference specific column names or artifacts on the canvas.
The data panel
Click the database icon in the bottom-right canvas toolbar to open the data panel. This shows all datasets connected to the current project.
If multiple files are connected, tabs at the top let you switch between them.
Table view shows the raw data with column names and data types. Metadata view shows column descriptions and sample values.
