Frequently asked questions about Atta.
What file types can I upload?
CSV, Excel (.xlsx, .xls), JSON, and Parquet.
What databases can I connect to?
Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift, RDS, and 60+ services including Salesforce, Airtable, and Asana.
Can I share my work?
Yes. Select any artifact on the canvas and click Publish in the toolbar.
You can share with specific people, your whole organization, or anyone with a link. You can also export charts as PNGs using the download button.
Can Atta search the web?
Yes. Click the globe icon in the prompt box to enable web search.
When active, Atta can query external sources to bring outside context into your analysis. Organization admins can control whether web search is available in workspace settings.
What's the difference between a chart and a data app?
A chart is a single visualization.
A data app is an interactive dashboard that can include multiple charts, filters, dropdowns, and controls - all working together. You can start a data app from a template or describe what you want from scratch.
Can I pick the chart type myself?
Yes. Click the Charts button below the prompt box to open the chart type picker.
Browse alphabetically, by category, or by intent. Or just describe what you want and let Atta decide.
Can I see the code behind an artifact?
Yes. Select the artifact and click the code view button (</>) in the toolbar.
Can I reference things already on the canvas?
Yes. Type @ in the chat to reference specific column names from your data or artifacts already on the canvas.
What if my chart doesn't look right?
Ask Atta to adjust it. You can change chart types, add or remove data, adjust colors, add trend lines, filter data, and more - just describe what you want in the chat.
How do I add someone to my team?
Go to Settings then People (or click Invite members from the profile menu). Enter their email, choose a role (Admin or Member), and click Invite.
What's the difference between Admin and Member?
Admins can manage workspace settings, preferences, and team members (under Settings then Workspace).
Members can use Atta and create and publish artifacts. Both can set personal preferences under Settings then Personalization.
Can I customize how Atta responds to me?
Yes. Go to Settings then Personalization to set your individual preferences for Atta's behavior.
Your personal settings always take precedence over any workspace-wide preferences.
