Infinite canvas
The canvas is the infinite workspace where Atta places everything it creates. It sits to the right of the chat panel.
Navigation
Use these controls to navigate around the canvas:
- Zoom - +/- buttons or percentage dropdown in the top-right
- Fit to screen - See all content at once (Cmd+1)
- Fit selection - Zoom to selected artifacts (Cmd+2)
- Mini map - Toggle with M for easier navigation on large canvases
- Full screen - Enter focused mode from the top-right controls
Canvas toolbar (bottom right)
The small toolbar in the bottom-right corner of the canvas has three tools:
- Text (T icon) - add a text element to the canvas
- Sticky note - add a sticky note for annotations or comments
- Database - open the data panel to view and manage datasets in the current project
Right-click menu
Right-click anywhere on the canvas to access:
- Add text - add a text element
- Add sticky note - add a sticky note
- Snap to grid - toggle grid snapping, which shows guidelines as you move and resize artifacts
Artifact toolbars
Hover over or select any artifact to reveal its toolbar:
- Ask Atta - ask questions about this specific artifact
- Code view - view the underlying code behind the artifact
- Theme toggle - switch between light and dark
- Refresh - update with the latest data
- Version history - view and revert to any previous version
- Download - export as PNG
- Publish - share the artifact (see Publishing and sharing)
Artifact-specific controls
Data apps also have a Select button that lets you highlight a specific component to ask about or modify.
